Our frozen wine slushie is exactly what it sounds like and better than it has any right to be: real wine, frozen into a fruity, frosty glass that disappears alarmingly fast on a warm Sierra Foothills afternoon. When are wine slushies available?

March through November, every day the tasting room is open. We take a winter break from slushies December through February. They’re at their best on a warm afternoon on the patio during an Apple Hill visit.

Where can I get a wine slushie near Apple Hill?

At Morton Family Cellars, 2875 Larsen Drive, Camino, CA, minutes off Highway 50 in the Apple Hill area of El Dorado County. Open Thursday through Monday, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and until 9 p.m. on Fridays, with extended seasonal hours.

What flavors and sizes does the wine slushie come in?

Is there a non-alcoholic or kids’ wine slushie?

No. The slushie is made with wine at 10% alcohol, so it’s 21 and over. Kids are still welcome at the winery.
