Visit Morton Family Cellars

A guide to everything at our family winery in Apple Hill, Camino, California — what to taste, what to do, when to come, and how to plan it.

There's more packed into this small winery than first meets the eye: a vineyard at 3,200 feet, a tasting room hidden in a restored 1960s speakeasy, karaoke every Friday, live music all season, and the wine slushie people pull off Highway 50 for. Whether you're driving up from Sacramento for the afternoon, building a full Apple Hill day, or scouting a venue for something special, use this page as your map — each link below goes deeper on one part of the visit.

Three Good Ways to Use This Page

First Time Up the Hill?

  • Start with Plan Your Visit for directions and hours, then read up on the speakeasy tasting room — knowing the story of the secret door makes the first walk down the stairs better. Order the tasting, ask questions; we're a family operation and we like talking about the wine.

Making a Full Apple Hill Day?

  • Hit the farm stands in the morning, then land here for the slow part of the afternoon: a picnic from your trunk, a slushie or a bottle, and a seat with the vineyard view. Bringing the dog? The patio is theirs too.

Planning Something Bigger?

  • For weddings, showers, retreats, and milestone parties, start on the private events page and send us your date. For a low-stakes group night out, just show up to Friday karaoke — no reservations, no cover, maximum stories afterward.
